About Us

Hi, we’re Nothing But Roaring

Founded officially in 2022, Nothing But Roaring was born out of a need to be creative when we couldn’t leave our homes due to the Covid pandemic.

Now our mission is to create quality audio theatre that is free for all to listen to online.

Everything kicked off with the launch of our first production, Much Ado About Nothing in September 2022, with out second production, Richard III, coming out in July 2023

What’s in a name?

Nothing But Roaring comes from Shakespeare’s A Midsummer NIght’s Dream, said by Quince, the leader of the Mechanicals who are rehearsing a play to perform at the wedding of Thesus and Hippolyta.

QUINCE Snug the joiner, you the lion’s part.—
And I hope here is a play fitted.

SNUG Have you the lion’s part written? Pray you, if it
be, give it me, for I am slow of study.

QUINCE You may do it extempore, for it is nothing but
roaring.
